William Paul Young

Author of Bestselling Book, "The Shack"

Wm. Paul Young, author of The Shack, Eve, Cross Roads,  The Shack Reflections, and Lies We Believe About God, was born a Canadian and raised among a stone-age tribe by his missionary parents in the highlands of what was Netherlands New Guinea (now West Papua). He suffered great loss as a child and young adult, and now enjoys the “wastefulness of grace” with his family in the Pacific Northwest. Paul’s life speaks of the potency of love and forgiveness, the arduous road of reconciliation, the freedom of transformational healing, the surprises of grace and community, and the unexpected emergence of joy. The Young family are part of a larger community that believes LIFE is bigger than death! The Shack Millions have come to know Wm. Paul Young from his best-selling book, The Shack. Originally written as a simple gift to his children, The Shack has sold over 22 million copies worldwide and has recently been adapted into a feature length movie starring Octavia Spencer as Papa, Sam Worthington as Mack Phillips, and Tim McGraw as Willie. www.wmpaulyoung.com
